At BodyHoliday, sailing with champions means joining two of Great Britain’s top Olympic sailors in March 2020 for “Spring Sail”. We welcome back World Champion, Nick Thompson and Volvo “round the world” competitor Hannah Diamond.
This year’s edition takes place between 1st-29th March 2020
It doesn’t matter whether you are a ‘novice’ or an accomplished sailor, there will be something for everyone. What will blow you away is that you can join in ‘Spring Sail’ at no extra cost. You can enjoy everything you normally have in your inclusive BodyHoliday, plus the opportunity to learn from “Masters” of the sport of sailing.
Sailing Lessons with Guest Olympic Sailors
Spring Sail 202o will be hosted by Guest World Class Sailors Hannah Diamond and Nick Thmpson, alongside our team of ASA qualified sailing instructors. They will be on hand to help you hone your skills so you can get the most out of your sailing.
Spring Sail offers you the chance of sailing with champions to learn from the world’s best sailors in the luxury of an award-winning all-inclusive spa resort. From introductory lessons for first timers to competitive regattas for more experienced sailors, there is something for everyone.
With 6 Hobie Cat boats, a J/24, and our two X-Treme 26 racing yachts, ‘Blue’ and ‘Reef’, you’ll get excitement, competition, fitness and fun
X-TREME 26 Sailing experience
Complimentary daily sailing on board of our X-Treme 26 racing yacht. Our ASA certified sailing instructors will teach you how to sail a keelboat and help you improve your skills if you’re already an avid sailor. You will get the opportunity to take a turn at the different positions on board including taking the helm of this racing yacht.
Weekly X-Treme 26 Match Races
BLUE and REEF, our two X-Treme 26 racing boats, will go head-to-head in a thrilling match race. For those guests who want the adrenaline rush of racing these super-fast boats, we have 4 crew positions available on both teams.
Weekly Hobie Cat Regattas with Prize Giveaways
Whether you team up with a friend in the Double Handed or go at it alone in the Single-Handed class, our Hobie Cat Fleet Race will be a fun competition where you can put your new sailing skills to the test.
Spring Sail features specialized exercise classes to strengthen your body and help you improve your performance on board as well as workshops on team building.

Nick and Hannah will each host a weekly champions dinner during their stay with us. After which, everyone gathers in the clubhouse for a motivational talk about the sport and a bit of history of their suucesses and the challenges that presented along the way.

Next Spring March 29th – April 25th sees the return of the WellFit programme.�� hosted as before by Donna Fraser, Olympic Sprinter and a warm BodyHoliday welcome to newcomer Olympic Boxer, Natasha Jonas.
Designed by The BodyHoliday Team, this programme has been put together to help guests of all fitness levels, sizes and ages. It is designed to help gain astounding results with the ultimate out-of-gym experience. Pre and post evaluation will help you monitor your progress, nutritional counseling will put your body on track, while exercise, motivation and an inspirational environment will help you reach your fitness goals and experience dramatic benefits along the way.
The WellFit® retreat was designed to be a unique health break.
WellFit – Featuring
Donna and Natasha’s goals will be to help you refresh your mind and body without the need for any complex equipment, exercise fads or expensive gym
memberships! It is a combination of outstanding fitness instruction, nutritional counseling and motivational training, packed with fun and energizing activities designed to help you build a strong and fit body and mind.
In a typical week, there will lots of time working out on the beach. You might as well get the best views if you are going to work hard! These “BeachFit” sessions are generally in the mornings and followed by “Breakfast with the Champions” on the boardwalk deck.
Diet and Nutrition is high in importance for any athelete and this programme includes some nutritional councelling. Another favourite activity, started incidentally by Donna, is a session where she will join forces with the chef to produce her favourite healthy dish.
Finally, a feature of all theme months is a hosted dinner and motivational talk on one evening a week.
