Every June you can dance with the stars at BodyHoliday.

June is a jam-packed month of activities with over 40 different dance styles to be learnt! In addition to the standards the professional dance team have introduced us to Lindy Hop, Argentine tango, Latin Dance fit and Motown. To give you an idea, take a look at the 2019  programme.

There will be the return of theStrictly Come Dancing” / “Dancing with the Stars” Competition every Saturday night. Show off your new moves for a chance to win prizes! This year the judge’s scores will be for guidance only as this year YOU the guests decide our Jive June champions!

The evenings will certainly heat up at Body Holiday’s clubhouse and there will be some special themed nights to really get you into that party spirit like Latin Night, Jazz Night, Caribbean Night, and more! Plus, evenings hosted by our guest presenters, Robin Windsor, Mila Lazar and Jennifer Benavidez.

Dancing is a brilliant way to get fit. It has purpose and skill and most of all during Jive June-fun. Dance with professionals: Robin, Jennifer, Mila and Rose and learn how to move your feet to the beat.

Grab the opportunity to get personalised instruction from the JiveJune master teachers. One-to-one lessons are available for individuals, couples, or up to four people at once. These lessons will suit your specific interests and needs. This ensures the most thorough and rapid learning process, all while keeping it fun, easy, and comfortable.

Robin Windsor

Robin’s dance genesis was initiated by his parents when at the age of three they enrolled him in a local dance school in Ipswich, a non-metropolitan district and the county town of Suffolk, England.

Mila Lazar

Mila, is a professional dancer, choreographer, and fitness presenter as well as a regular Guest Presenter at The BodyHoliday and there is a reason she is consistently asked to return year in year out. She is passionate about giving the guests the best fitness and dance classes they could imagine.

Jennifer Benavidez

Jennifer Benavidez (USA) is an international dance instructor based in Henley-on-Thames, UK. She has taught, performed and competed in front of 1,000’s. She danced salsa on the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ 2016 Launch Show,

WellFit Families

5th July-30th August

Wellfit Families makes family wellness holidays a reality. This is an experience that motivates teenagers and their parents towards family bonding, through well-being and fitness.

This themed month combines a fusion of adventures, sports experiences and activities. Abseiling, bike rides along coastal trails, beach fit classes all combine to make some wonderful memories. Did we mention all the fun?

Our hosts are all professional sportsmen and women. They will be on hand to deliver motivation, engaging participants in beach sports, fitness classes and a wide range of activities. They host what we call “Champions Dinners” and give inspirational after dinner speeches.

We welcome back our old friend Olympic Sprinter Jamie Baulch a BodyHoliday favourite plus three new additions : Olympic gymnast Kristian Thomas, Rugby Hall-of-Famer Martin Offiah, and Olympic hurdler Sally Gunnell.

Jamie Baulch

Jamie enjoyed a career spanning 15 years at the top of world class athletics. Since retiring in 2005, he has starred in several reality TV shows and directed several business ventures including the Jamie Baulch Academy and WRU Memorabilia, a range of Welsh rugby memorabilia.

Kristian Thomas

Kristian James Thomas is a British former artistic gymnast. A long-standing member of both the England and Great Britain men's teams, he was a member of the British team that won gold in the 2012 European Championships.

Sally Gunnell

Sally Gunnell OBE; the Essex Girl who captured the hearts of a nation. She remains the only woman ever to hold four major track titles concurrently – Olympic, World, European and Commonwealth. Since retiring from international athletics, Sally developed new career paths as a television presenter, keynote speaker and wellbeing advocate.

Martin Offiah

Martin Offiah is an English former professional rugby league player and rugby union. He scored over 500 tries during his rugby league career, making him the first highest try scorer and top try-scoring English player of all time
